Most East Indians are wanting to have a resource to get Ei brides and EI Grooms. However, while most want to search and find, they do not want to be willing to put their name to say "I am looking for a groom" or "I am looking for a bride". Once we overcome this we will be able to find GREAT PARTNERS within our community itself.
In this site itself a person can write that he/sheis looking for a partner and those interested can check their profile. it is that simple.

I totally agree..
In this day & age we East indians are still depending on the old-fashioned ways of relatives input, word of mouth etc. when it comes to searching for a bride or groom..
Perhaps a seperate section on this website exclusively for matrimonials would help..

I do agree this site can be a platform to voice our concerns and i share the same feeling with Greg Dsouza. I am on the look out for a suitable life partner, and i would like to vouch myself for this.

if you have someone who know wanting to get married can send their profiles in Matrimonial as now a days it difficult to get a groom or bride easily and specially EAST INDIANS.
i tool wish to apply for the same but i am divorcee with one daughter, it not very easy for me to get Mr. Right.

I am very happy that this will help many eligible bachelors and spinsters to meet each other.
Great stuff - Guys just to update those are not aware, having a materimonial site was Ivy's idea, CONGRATULATIONS IVY, and THANKYOU VERY MUCH ADMIN. We have just proved ourselfs wrong, in a matter of 4 days we have approx. 4 proposals. Great thanx again Admin.

Actually it is not a "site". however the idea should be that one just put up a simple statement like. . . .
"i am interested in finding a life partner, please check my profile for details". then the person interested can check his/her profile if interested.

Thanks for your privacy concerns.
I suggest, you e-mail each other - cheapest option!
Or, admin can make a database (MySQL is a good open source database software - you may be already using it). This service should be charged some nominal fee (to access this database) so that everyone (all the members), except the interested ones, will not access it.

It is good to know that so many bachelors & spinsters want to use the arrangement provided by the site.Therefore,it is to have the web site /e-mail created in the matrimonial field .The details could be sent by the match finder into this sites & exchange thoughts.

Admin is right....I would also request members to upload their decent photograph so that we all can relate to oneanother ,thus this site will be more friendly ,warm & attractive.Please give it a sincere try1

as you will notice that it creates a link to the profile (check admin or Greg or others just above your comment). thereby knowing who the person is.
we would like that people complete their registration. very often people request to be members and then do not log in and complete the procedure. this helps us to ascertian who are genuine persons. as such you will notice that there are about 380 or so members, however the current database is of nearly 600. we know for sure that people are genuine as there are relatives of mine, who have not complete the procedure, that is simple : just log in again and fill details of name/village etc.
